March 2008 Meeting

In March, we challenged our industry specialists with your questions and opinions about print production. Our panelists, Vivian Green (The Irvine Company), Ira Fast (Penn Litho), William Rivera (MMi Direct Mail) and Marti Soskin (Oakley) took the hard pitches from the audience and hit home runs with their answers every time! We heard inside tips on how to handle difficult press checks, how to effectively interview new suppliers, and how to rate existing vendors. We picked up new industry terminology, got tips on processes for working with new technology, and took home a pocket guide of Production Management Fundamentals (which got rave reviews from all in attendance!).
